When you spend your time thinking about or re-living the past, or worrying about the future, you lose the valuable moment of NOW forever. The moment of NOW is your window of opportunity for shaping a better future and creating a new improved past. Try to catch yourself (become conscious of) when you are brooding about how you wish you’d done things differently in the past or when you start to project concern or worry about the future. Don’t waste any more of your precious moments on the useless energy of what is already done (and cannot be changed) or fear of what may or may not happen in the future! Unless of course you want to create the momentum of more regret and fear in your life. Which I know you don’t!
When you find yourself “time traveling”, simply bless the issue you are thinking about , forgive yourself (we all do it!), let it go, and gently bring your focus back to the present moment and remind yourself you are creating valuable energy right now. If instead, you choose in the moment to relax, have fun, trust, enjoy or just be at peace, you would create the momentum for more of that in your life.
Every single moment is an opportunity to BE the person you wish to become-joyful, playful and loving. In other words, BE that person NOW and feel the way you would feel if all your dreams came true, NOW! Never dismiss the importance of NOW-even if your now is not what you wish it to be. Bring inner gratitude, love and happiness to the present situation and know by doing so you are creating a brighter tomorrow. Every day, every moment, you are free to BE what you wish to become!
