A Conscious Journey of Creating Success Starts With Belief
“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it” ~Albert Einstein
If you’re on a conscious journey of creating success in your life, then somewhere along the way you have probably heard the “Bamboo Story”. It goes something like this…The amazing bamboo plant needs to be watered, nurtured and cared for year after year for up to five years. As you water, you wait for the future plant to appear. You may want to give up and just when you are about to, after five years, the bamboo starts growing-and in six weeks, it grows to over 80 feet tall! The point of the story is if you had given up for even a short period of time, there would be no Bamboo. It’s a story to illustrate the power of persistence and never giving up.
But there is a flaw to this story, it illustrates that you can spend years doing the same thing over and over, getting the same results but expecting something different. This is what Einstein talks about when he says no problem can be solved from the level of consciousness that created it. And this is what most people are doing in their lives. They keep doing the SAME THING over and over, getting the SAME RESULTS, and expecting something DIFFERENT.
What if you didn’t have to work so hard, sacrifice and have patience for so long in order to reap the benefits and see the results you desire? I have nothing against persistence, I think it’s important. But what if you are being persistent in the wrong way with no real plan, or are on the wrong path altogether, then how is persistence helpful? What if you just need a better system or a better way? If you’re not getting the results you want in life, the Bamboo story might make you feel better for now, and if you just keep going, things may eventually turn around for you. But that’s silly. If what you’re doing is not working after a reasonable amount of time, you need to find a better way! Is doing the wrong things longer going to get you better results? Of course not!
The first and most important thing you can do when things aren’t working is to identify the signs of toxic thinking. I call it “stink’ in think’ in.” Only then can you move on to changing your destiny. There are several areas that fall under the category of “stink’ in think’ in.” The most toxic of them all is self negation, self condemnation and the dismissal of your own needs and priorities. Your results in life are not formulated from what you do, they are formulated from who you are-from the inside out. So, if what you’re doing isn’t working, what you feel for yourself in your own mind and heart needs to be examined, then consciously and purposely chosen.
Here are three consciousness shifts you can make today to start your journey to consciously creating your desired results more efficiently:
3. Write down the new results you expect to see in your life now that you will not be projecting your old limiting thoughts about yourself out to the Universe. Continue to affirm your new power and worthiness to receive.

Wow, all I wanted to know this morning was an explanation of Einstein's quotation on problem solving. I googled it and the 4th or 5th link brought me to you. Amazing,… just what I needed to hear on my spiritual journey: – the role that fear, anxiety and doubt play in the process and – how important it is to detoxicate your toxicated mind and heart the moment you catch yourself in the stinking mode. Wonderfull Debra, be blessed!
